This policy explains how Harborlight Rep Group uses cookies and similar technologies on forum.pacific-reps.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. Similar technologies include local storage, which this website uses to remember your cookie choice.
2. Cookies we use
| Name / type | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| hrg_cookie_consent_v1 (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies so the banner is not shown again | Strictly necessary | Until cleared |
| Session cookie | Maintains your forum login session and protects form submissions against cross-site request forgery | Strictly necessary | Session |
| Analytics cookies | Aggregate, non-identifying measurement of which pages are visited and for how long, set only after you press “Accept all” | Optional — consent required | Up to 13 months |
We do not use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies on this website.
3. Your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow optional cookies. Choosing “Essential only” means no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which makes the banner reappear on your next visit.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
All major browsers let you view, block and delete cookies through their settings — usually under Privacy or Site Settings in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the forum login and contact form from working.
5. Do Not Track
This website does not respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because no consistent standard for them exists. We instead rely on the explicit consent choice you make in the banner.
6. Updates
If we add or remove a cookie, this table is updated and the revision date at the top of the page changes. Where a new optional cookie is introduced, we will ask for your consent again.
