Your product line, in the hands of buyers who actually specify it.

Harborlight Rep Group is an independent manufacturers' representative agency working the Mid-Atlantic corridor from the Delaware River waterfront. We carry industrial, marine and packaging lines into distribution, OEM and municipal accounts — and we stay after the sale.

Who we are

A small agency that knows every dock, plant and purchasing desk in the territory

Harborlight was founded by Rolanda Walker in 2009 after fifteen years on the distribution side of the fluid-handling business. The idea was simple: manufacturers outside the region kept losing bids in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania because nobody local could answer a technical question on a Tuesday morning. We answer them.

Today the agency represents twenty-four non-competing principals, calls on more than four hundred active accounts, and runs a moderated partner forum where distributors, specifiers and our principals' application engineers work through real jobs together.

  • Independent — we are paid on commission by our principals, never by the buyer.
  • Non-competing line card, so a specification is never shopped against itself.
  • Field service, samples and job-site support included in the representation agreement.

What we do

Four services, one accountable territory

Every principal gets the same operating rhythm: a written territory plan, a shared call calendar, monthly funnel reporting and a quarterly review with Rolanda Walker in the room.

01

Territory representation

Face-to-face coverage of distributors, OEMs, contractors and municipal buyers across NJ, eastern PA, DE, MD and metro NY.

02

Specification support

We sit with engineers early, get the model number written into the spec, and defend it through bid day.

03

Channel development

Stocking programs, counter-day training, price-file maintenance and joint calls with distributor outside sales.

04

Aftermarket & service

Warranty triage, replacement-part identification and on-site troubleshooting so the second order is easier than the first.

The territory

Five states, one drive time

From the Camden office we can be at a customer's plant in Wilmington, Trenton, Allentown, Bethlehem or the Brooklyn Navy Yard the same day. That radius is not an accident — it is the reason a rep firm still beats a phone bank.

Ongoing

Review cadence

Monthly funnel report, quarterly business review, annual territory re-plan. No surprises.

In their words

What principals and distributors tell us

“We had written off New Jersey. Two quarters after Harborlight took the territory we were back in three of the four largest wholesalers in the Delaware Valley.”

— Regional sales manager, valve manufacturer (Ohio)

“Rolanda's team shows up with the cutaway, the submittal and the lead time. Our counter staff actually learn something.”

— Branch manager, industrial distributor (Philadelphia)

“They caught a mis-specified seal material on a wastewater job before it shipped. That one call paid for the relationship.”

— Project engineer, municipal authority (Burlington County)

Partner forum

A moderated place to solve real jobs

This domain hosts the Harborlight partner forum — a moderated, application-oriented discussion board where distributor salespeople, plant engineers and our principals' factory support staff work through sizing, materials of construction, retrofits and lead-time problems in public so the next person can find the answer.

Membership is free for customers, principals and their employees. Every thread is read by a human moderator before it is indexed, and we do not permit anonymous commercial posting.

  • Application questions answered by named engineers, not a ticket queue.
  • Archived solutions, submittal templates and cross-reference tables.
  • Clear posting rules and a published moderation standard.
